Food Provider with a Visitor Experience

To become a member of the Mayo Food & Drink Network you must meet the following requirements:

  • Willingness to accommodate visitors through pre-arranged visits during their operating season.
  • Maintain a regularly updated website or web presence to provide information about their offerings and visitor experiences.
  • Educate staff about the purpose of the trail and the other members participating in it.
  • Comply with food safety and HACCP standards in accordance with FSAI guidelines.
  • Actively engage in trail and publicity events to promote the Gourmet Greenway and its members.
  • Be open to accepting visitors for a minimum of six months of the year.
  • Possess adequate public liability insurance to ensure the safety of visitors.
  • Offer designated areas suitable for visitors with developed visitor experiences.
  • Clearly publish regular opening hours to inform potential visitors.
  • Submit the agreed membership fee, membership details, visitor experience details and imagery by the specified deadline.
  • Commitment to attend planned network meetings and the networking events.
  • Actively participate in trail and publicity events: provide information on members, network events and visitor experiences.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with other members for joint promotions and initiatives..
  • Engage in publicity events and familiarisation trips as necessary.
